Dream Sleuth is a hidden-object game in which you will be investigating a kidnapping. You will control Catherine, she will need to solve many puzzles and find a number of objects, both in real life and in her dreams. By interviewing people, she will collect pieces of information that may lead her to solving the mystery. Before they actually help her, the interviewees will sometimes ask her back to look for special items or solve puzzles.
When you are asked to find an object, you will have to look for it in a room full of several other objects scattered all around the place. Movable objects will be marked with little sparks around them. You can move them out of the way to see what is hidden behind them. When you find what you are looking for, just click on that object. Sometimes you will have to find several objects of the same kind - your task then will be completed once you have found the last of the required objects.
Dream Sleuth is a very addictive game. The graphics are really good, except for the scenes where you interact with other characters. Those scenes are poorly designed, with moving mouths placed onto static pictures of real people. The result is hilarious, and somewhat spoils the mysterious atmosphere of the game. The unregistered version of this game will let you play for sixty minutes.
